clerked with Damian & Valori LLP before joining the firm
as an attorney, and served as the Assistant Editor for the
Business Law Section of The Florida Bar, Case Law Update 2008.
He was also a Certified Legal Intern in the Felonies Division
of the Miami-Dade Office of the Public Defender, and completed
an internship with the Hon. William M. Hoeveler, United States
District Court, Southern District of Florida.
Mr. DeWeese attended the University of Miami
School of Law on scholarship (J.D., 2008), and received an
Honors recognition in Alternative Dispute Resolution. He worked
for Professor Kenneth M. Casebeer investigating issues related
to the UM Janitor’s strike of 2006, and taught first-year
students as Dean’s Fellow for Professor Marc A. Fajer’s
Elements class.
Before attending law school, Mr. DeWeese
was a professional violist (B.M., 2001, P.D., 2003, Indiana
University), and has concertized with many prominent artists
and orchestras, including James Levine, Barry Manilow, Ray
Charles, and the New World Symphony.
