JOHN
M. QUARANTA (vCard)
focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation. He
is AV Rated (Highest Competency and Ethics Rating from Martindale-Hubbell)
and is a member in good standing of The Florida Bar.
In Mr. Quaranta’s 17 years of practice,
he has represented clients in Federal and State Courts throughout
Florida, before the NASD, FINRA, the CFTC and the American
Arbitration Association.
Prior to joining Damian & Valori LLP,
he spent 4 years as Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel
of two U.S. Defense Contractors. In that capacity Mr. Quaranta
became acutely aware, from the inside, on what best serves
the client’s needs. Mr. Quaranta has participated as
General Counsel to the Board of Directors in over 50 board
and committee meetings. Prior to his experience as General
Counsel, he was a partner at a South Florida law firm where
he focused his practice on complex business litigation.
Mr. Quaranta received his law degree
from the University of Miami School of Law (J.D., magna cum
laude, 1991) where he was awarded the Thomas P. McDougall
Full Academic scholarship, and the Law School Academic Scholarship.
He was also an elected member of the University of Miami Honor
Council and a member of the University of Miami Law Review.
Mr. Quaranta received his undergraduate degree in Economics
from Georgetown University (B.A., 1987). He is a resident
of Coral Gables, Florida, and is a member of the Knights of
Columbus (First Degree).
